two nights with you all.
Nothing was to much trouble for any of you and your breakfast was great.
The place was lovely and clean. We have just arrived back to Perth and
would not have any trouble telling friends of your place.

Greetings, Charlie,
It's been less than a week since we returned to the States, and our
memories of our most recent trip to Scotland are still fresh and wonderful.
It was all worth it. No question!
And coming "home" to St. Valery's was a big part of our visit.
I must tell you that of all the places we stayed (Leeds, Edinburgh,
Callander and London), St. Valery's was far and away the best place.
It was the best cared-for, the cleanest, the roomiest, and the breakfasts
were delicious. Next to St. Valery's was The Poppies in Callander, and
it was definitely O.K. But St. Valery's was without question the VERY
BEST PLACE of all! And much of what made St. Valery's so special was
your help and friendliness, Charlie. And the rest of the staff as well.
We now have a friend in Edinburgh who has invited us to stay with her
whenever we come back, and I'd very much like to do that....except I
wouldn't want to miss out on St. Valery's! We'll have to make a decision
about that one of these days.
Again, thanks for such a comfortable and friendly welcome. Your hospitality
made our days in Edinburgh very special.
